On Culture and Value
"Giving grounds...justifying the evidence, comes to an end; -- but the end is not certain propositions' striking us immediately as true, i.e. it is not a kind of seeing on our part; it is our acting, which lies at the bottom of the language-game." On Certainty. 204.
We invite presentations that seek not only to understand how philosophy or theology pertain to culture and value, but also how our culture and values affect the practices of philosophy or theology.
We hope that you will join us in this conversation.
